Easy Superbowl Party Ideas!

This football season went by both extremely slow and quick. It would be an understatement to say it was an exciting season, but now Super Bowl 58 is coming up next week.

Super Bowl 58 brings us the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers head-to-head. While I’ll make a separate post for team-specific Super Bowl parties, I figured I’d compile everything you need to have a fantastic Super Bowl party.

Plates

I like that these are regular-shaped plates, so they’ll be easier to use up post-Super Bowl. They have references to touchdowns and kick-off when the game finally starts, and they give off a very bright and happy vibe, which is needed. It’s also helpful that they include matching green utensils!

These have to be my favorite of all of the cup styles as they’re channeling the referees of the game, which, depending on the team you’re rooting for, you may love or hate in the moment. It’s a toss-up 😉 Glad is an excellent brand we regularly use, so being football-themed makes it 100x better. These are the ones to grab if you aren’t looking for cups that are more obviously football-themed.

I love how you can mix and match these cups, choosing from one that looks like the football field or like the football itself. These definitely scream football, which isn’t a bad thing, but definitely keep it in mind because they’re not as low-key as the others on the list. I’m not one to shy away from using this outside of football season. I’d definitely use these year-round, but it’s definitely up to what you’re comfortable with because you could always save them until football season starts again or until the next Super Bowl.

If you don’t want to go all in for a full balloon arch, this is perfect! It gives the same vibe for the party but at almost half the size, which is really nice. These balloons only use air, so an air pump will do, which is great because you don’t have to find a place to fill the balloons with helium, which is one less thing for you to worry about. The balloon arch also provides a great photo op for everyone at the party and a great way to capture memories that you won’t forget forever! Especially if it’s your team playing in the Super Bowl. They’re also reusable, which means you can whip it out for another game when football season starts again or wait until the next Super Bowl.

The company says that these balloons don’t require helium but can use regular air, which is extremely refreshing because going out and getting helium is always a pain but is also worth it. However, you could pull out the air pump, manual or electric, and get these ready quickly. This is great if you’re throwing a party on short notice because finding somewhere to inflate balloons can be a problem sometimes. Saying all of that, these game day balloons are bound to set the mood for the game and party. They’re also a great addition if you get the matching plate and utensils I mentioned above.

The full balloon arch is definitely a statement-maker for the party, which is always fun and provides excellent photo moments. I’ve always been a fan of balloon arches; something about them makes whatever’s going on feel a little more special than if there wasn’t a balloon arch. The company doesn’t specify whether or not it requires helium or if it works with air, but some people expressed in the comments that they used an air pump. I don’t want to promise or mislead you about inflating the balloons, so read the reviews before buying it  Either way, it will take either helium or air, maybe both. Check first if you’re worried!

Pirate’s Booty has always been one of my favorite snacks growing up and still is. Despite being called a kid’s snack, they’re very much for all age ranges. I’m personally a fan of the individually wrapped packs because they’re great for traveling or packing for your lunch. It’s also a great way to avoid having to refill the bowl constantly since everyone can have their own pack, and if they want another, they can go and grab it, which is one less thing for you to worry about!

I don’t think you could ever go wrong with Reeses’s peanut buttercups or the themed versions. This is the football version, which I can personally attest to are absolutely delicious. I already mentioned that we love a theme in our house, which extends to Reese’s, although maybe we’re just looking for an excuse to buy candy. Either way, these are bound to be a crowd-pleaser, and because there are 36 in the pack, if you don’t have many people coming over, you’ll have leftovers to snack on later.

Also, if you haven’t tried it, put it in the fridge for a little bit. A cold Reese’s candy is 10x better.
